The sodium bisulfite is a white crystalline powder with an odor of sulphur dioxide. The exposed air loses some of its sulfur dioxide and oxidizes to sulfate.
4、Usage:
1. It is used for bleaching of cotton fabric and organic matter, as Deoxidizer and bleaching agent in printing and dyeing industry, it can prevent the localization of cotton fabric and affect the strength of cotton fiber, and improve the whiteness of the boiled material.
2. It is used as a reducing agent in dyestuff, paper making, leather making and chemical synthesis industries to prevent oxidation of semi-finished products during the reaction.
3. The pharmaceutical industry uses the intermediates in the production of analgin and aminopyrine.
4. Food grade products are used as bleaching agents, preservatives, and antioxidants.
5. Used in the treatment of chromium-containing wastewater and as an additive for electroplating.

      Storage and protection: closed operation, local ventilation. Prevent the release of dust into the air of the workshop. Operators must be specially trained and strictly abide by the operating procedures. Operators are adrised to wear self-priming filter dust mask, wear chemical safety glasses wear rubber acid and alkali clothing, wear rubber acid and alkali gloves. Avoid producing dust. Avoid contact with oxidants, acids and bases. Equipped with leak emergency treatment equipment. Emptied containers may leave harmful residues.
